Mutant Giant Spider Dog

Well, what’d you do if you saw a huge, mutant spider-creature running straight towards you? As shown in the funny viral video "Mutant Giant Spider Dog," most folks flee in complete terror. You just no need to panic, though; the onslaught of giant, mutant spiders is not yet upon us.

As shown by Poland-based prankster Sylwester Adam Wardęga (a.k.a. "SA Wardęga"), the horrendous, and eight-legged monster was nothing more than his loveable dog, “Chica”, cunningly dressed up in a furry costume and unleashed onto the unwary public. In the video, you can clearly see “Chica the DogSpider” scuttling cheerily after each innocent victim, looking like the stuff of nightmares emerging from dark alleys and shadowy corners. Even one man, in the middle of taking out his garbage, flees for his life upon seeing “Chica” pop out from behind a door.

Moreover; in another scene, two girls run away shouting from the frightening sight of the furry creature preying on a seemingly lifeless man in an elevator. Then a couple is seen cautiously approaching a spider-web-wrapped form in the trees, only to sprint right out of the park when “Chica” appears. One exclusively funny scene shows a man confronted with numerous bloody, dangling limbs, which he stops to snap a photo of before being rushed by the mutant monster straight into a close spider-web. In a moment of intensified tension, the gentleman struggles to escape, but absolutely disentangles himself just in time to get away.

Adorable Topiary Sculpture of a Sleeping Baby Bird by Claude Ponti

Some peoples are blessed with natural abilities to do something different. Like, French artist Claude Pointi, who produced a beautiful sculpture in a large botanical garden.  So if you happen to discover yourself in Nantes, France, be sure to head to Jardin des Plantes, a big botanical garden. Where you will find this delectable topiary sculpture titled “Poussin endormi” (Sleepy Chick) by French artist Claude Ponti.

It features a larger-than-life baby bird whose relaxed pose looks like it’s in the middle of a nap. The amusing work showcases Ponti’s great abilities in crafting a topiary. Ponti’s creates evenly-textured, rounded forms that are punctuated with metal details like long, thin legs and a bright yellow beak. There’re even miniature eyelashes that dot the bird’s closed eyes! This lovely topiary is part of a larger exhibition of Ponti’s work that’s available for view through October 20 of this year.Source: Charismatic Planet

Carezza Lake

Carezza lake is a pearl of the Dolomiti. Nestled between an ancient forest of grand firs and the Latemar mountain is place of legends and beauty a nymph lives under its emerald waters. I threw a little stone in the water to add a little mystery to the scene.

Iguzau Falls

Taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide, Iguazu Falls are the result of a volcanic eruption which left a large crack in the earth. During the rainy season of November – March, the rate of flow of water going over the falls may reach 450,000 cubic feet (12,750 cubic m) per second.

Exquisite Cake Looks like The Interior of a Library.

In the recent times, Kathy Knaus has discovered creative cake abilities. She designs a beautiful sugary sushi rolls to a scaled-down fashion studio, but her most excellent work is her multi-tiered library cake. In this tremendous design, Knaus has created a spectacular interior section of a public library.

The lovely miniature display features a tiny table, with two gumdrop reading lamps, and a minor chair placed directly in front of rows and rows of books. An attractive model globe sits on the central level with a rickety ladder that leads up to the 2nd floor, and the shelves on both levels are stocked full of colorful book covers.

Knaus has paid cautious devotion to every detail, together with the bricks on the exterior of the building as well as the tiles on the floor of the interior space. The cake design is almost too fanciful to actually eat! Despite of her library cake above, you may also admire her efforts in making clever cake creations below.

Solar Powered Roads Introduced by Solar Roadways

A small United States company “Solar Roadways” is presently developing a road surface that may change the style of using energy. They’re making a road surface that is made of solar panels. If the solar road is fixed across the United States, it’d have the potential to yield more renewable energy than the country consumes.

A sample road has already been made and installed in a parking lot. Nowadays, the company is considering for funds in order to be able to make some improvements to the design and finally take it into production. The company plan is to design the glass solar panels in the shape of hexagons that are fitted with LED lighting. The panels can be fitted on various surfaces. According to Solar Roadways, the panels would pay for themselves, as well as benefit both homeowners and businesses alike.

The fresh pavement would generate adequate energy from parking lots and drives to power buildings, though extra energy from the panels would be sold back to the grid. Though the panels are made of glass, they’re not weak. In a beautiful demonstration, a truck weighing around 250,000 pounds was driven over the panels without inflicting any damage on them.

The other advantage is to built-in heating system that’d melt snow and ice on the roads and hence, lessen the weather-related accidents. The panels could even be used to charge electric vehicles sometime, using mutual induction panels that will charge the vehicles as it drives along the road. The panels can even use the energy from cars “headlights” meaning they could deliver power even at night. The glass used in making the panels is 10% recycled.

Furthermore, the panels would be wired to a network so any defective panel could be installed instantly. The cables are concealed in “corridors” to give the roads an aesthetically pleasing look and to make it tranquil for utility workers to gain access to the cables. Solar Roadways guesses that if they can cover the 31,000 square miles of roadways in America, they can produce three times extra energy than the country uses.

Indeed this is a massive claim and would greatly support the economy and the environment if brought into reality. Though, at the moment, the company needs a big amount of funds and has started an Indiegogo campaign. They’ve set a target of $1 million with which they hope to hire more engineers to support them to improve the design and create certain modifications. If company does meet their target, the project could be start at the end of year 2014. No doubt this is massive project and covering all of America's roads is sure to cost a lot more than their target.
