Karijini National Park is a National Park centred in the Hamersley Ranges of the Pilbara region in northwestern Western Australia (Australia). It is just north of the Tropic of Capricorn, approximately 1,055 kilometres (656 mi) from the State's capital city, Perth. Formerly known as Hamersley National Park, it was renamed in 1991. Well, at 627,442 hectares (1,550,440 acres), it is the second largest national park in Western Australia (Karlamilyi National Park is larger). The park is physically split into a northern and a southern half by a corridor containing the Hamersley & Robe River railway and the Marandoo iron ore mine. The park is served by the Solomon Airport, located 15 kilometres (9.3 mi) westwards.

Atlantic Seaboard fall line in Eastern United States

The Atlantic Seaboard Fall Line or ”Fall Zone”, is a 1,400 kilometers escarpment where the “Piedmont” and “Atlantic coastal” plain meet in the eastern United States. Much of the Atlantic Seaboard fall line passes across the areas where no evidence of faulting is available now. Moreover, the fall line marks the geologic boundary of hard metamorphosed terrain “the product of the Taconic orogeny” and the sandy, relatively flat outwash plain of the upper continental shelf, created of unconsolidated Cretaceous and Cenozoic sediments. The main examples of the Fall Zone comprise the “Potomac River's Great Falls” and the rapids in Richmond, Virginia, where the James River falls across a series of rapids down to its own tidal estuary.

Before navigation improvements such as locks, the fall line was normally the head of navigation on rivers due to their fast-moving water or waterfalls, and the essential portage around them. The Great Falls of the Potomac River is one example. Due to the commercial traffic, requisite labor and accessibility of water power to operate mills; several cities were founded at the intersection of rivers and the fall line. United States Route 1 connects several of the fall line cities. In 1808, Treasury Secretary “Albert Gallatin” noticed the importance of the fall line as a hindrance to improved national communication and commerce among the Atlantic seaboard and the western river systems.   

The most well-known, though not maybe the most challenging obstruction in the navigation of the Atlantic rivers, comprises in their lower falls, which are ascribed to a presumed incessant granite ridge, rising about 130 feet above tide water. Although, the ridge from New York to James River inclusively arrests the ascent of the tide; the falls of every river within that space being specifically at the head of the tide; following thence southwardly a direction almost parallel to the mountains, it recedes from the sea, leaving in each southern river a coverage of good navigation between the tide and the falls. Different people have different approach, likes, mindset, etc., they’d love to do something different in his approach. Just like in photography Greg McCown had been trying to photograph a lightning bolt and rainbow in one shot. He’s trying from last seven years, but unable to fulfil his effort. The 42 years old photographer finally took the spectacular image when driving to work in Arizona left such an impression that he knew he had to shoot it someday. 

He’s doing real estate salesperson job, and one day he finally succeeded with a basic DSLR camera. However, it’s not easy quest as you have to guess where the lightning will strike. You know, when you want to take special picture, you’ve to be ready any time, because your reaction time to see lightning and hit the trigger in time to catch it just are not fast enough. Therefore, i used a lightning trigger, this is a small device that sits on top of the camera, senses the lightning and fires the trigger.”
