Jigokudani Monkey Park, Where Monkeys Bath in Hot Springs


Jigokudani is a valley surrounded by steep rock walls where steam can be seen rising from natural hot springs. Jigokudani Monkey Park, is famous due to massive population of wild Japanese snow monkeys, using natural spa exclusively by themselves. These are also referred to Japanese macaques “Macaca fuscata”, in Yamanouchi, Shimotakai District, Nagano Prefecture, part of the Joshinetsu Kogen National Park, located in the valley of the Yokoyu-River, in the northern part of the prefecture.

Iroha-zaka Road Japan

Iroha-zaka is a pair of famous winding roads located in the mountains of Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. It’s the main access to connect the lower elevations around central Nikko to the higher elevations of the mountainous Okunikko region. This pair of asphalted roads it’s a 1-way switchback mountain road (2 separate roads; up and down). It’s necessary to use the Second Iroha-zaka to go up, and use the First Iroha-zaka to come down.

The blue lights on the sea coast are the glowing firefly squid of Toyama, Japan.

The blue lights on the sea coast are the glowing firefly squid of Toyama, Japan. Each tentacle has an organ called a photophore, which produces light. When flashed, these lights attract small fish, on which the squid can then feed.

Gorgeous Nature of Hagaromo Falls

Japan's 4th tallest waterfall, Hagaromo Falls is a heart to Daisetzusan National Park. The falls drop 820 feet from a plateau on the lower slopes of Hokkaido's tallest mountains. A second stream plunges parallel to the main stream, the two joining just above the two final tiers of the falls, forming a very exclusive Y-shape not seen in many globally significant waterfalls.

Cherry blossoms or Sakura is cultural symbol of Japan. The person lives in Japan anxiously waiting of spring seasons, when brighter skies and fresh green buds signify the beginning of cherry blossom seasons. The beautiful cherry blossom seasons attracts thousands of tourists, photographer and local inhabitants. They’d like to admired and delicate pink beauty that have short lifespans. Whether you are in the city or the countryside, young, middle aged, or old, alone or with a group of friends, during the day or at nighttime, the cherry blossoms of sakura is truly a remarkable sight to behold. Whether Japan to Washington, D.C. to Taiwan, cherry blossom season is a pleasing time to celebrate springtime, nature, and fleeting beauty. Certainly everybody loves blossoming flowers, true nature colors and fresh air. Spring is the seasons, which provide new life to nature. Cherry blossom season is linked to the centuries-old custom of hanami, when people would like to gather beneath cherry blossom trees to eat, drink, play games, and have fun together, all the while gazing at mass of pale pink and white petals that flutter overhead in the branches.
