Sean Lenz 19, and Kristoffer Abligaard 20, has taken stunning luminous
landscapes pictures of California Waters. You can see that waterfall
transformed into vibrant rainbows of colors. The eye-catching images
depicted by clever use of long exposure photography and glow sticks
floating through water. This project came from months of refining a easy
idea that finally turned into a impression worthy of using for an
entire series. Although the images are long exposures
taken between 30s and 7m of different landscapes where one person is
standing at the drop point, strategically placing glow sticks in the
right areas to flow into the frame of the image, while the other person
is manning the camera. The enthusiastic photographers
are hoping to enlarge their idea of bringing artificial color to
natural landscapes by incorporating mountains, lakes, tree lines, grass
fields and caves.
