Sailing stones, sliding rocks,
and moving rocks all refer to a geological phenomenon where rocks move in long
tracks along a smooth valley floor without human or animal intervention. They
have been recorded and studied in a number of places around Racetrack Playa,
Death Valley, where the number and length of travel grooves are notable. The
force behind their movement is not confirmed and is the subject of
research. Some stones make linear turns others make oval turns while others
create a wavy shape on their tracks. No one has ever seen them move and nobody
knows the speed they move with. The mysterious sailing stones of Death Valley
turn while they are sliding through the flat leveled valley and this leaves
different tracks behind them. Some stones move further than others over two to
five years.

Stunning Photos Capture of Antarctica's Icebergs
Tokyo-based
nature and wildlife photographer Martin Bailey captures the otherworldly beauty
of Antarctica in this fascinating photo series. Though the frozen continent is
home to numerous seals and penguins, but the brave Martin Bailey chose to snap
the sweeping landscape without any signs of life, instead focusing on the harsh
and otherworldly beauty of 1,000-year-old icebergs and glaciers. With a
striking palette of pure white, icy blue, pale aqua, and deep cobalt, Bailey's
spectacular photographs draw parallels between manmade civilizations and the
isolated, natural allure of Antarctica. Therefore; towering, monolithic ice
formations evoke the imagery of architectural form such as grand palaces, impenetrable
fortresses, and even great pyramids. Splendid in snow and ice, the frozen
tundra's mesmerizing attractiveness looks like something from a dream or
another world.

Mutant Giant Spider Dog
Well,
what’d you do if you saw a huge, mutant spider-creature running straight
towards you? As shown in the funny viral video "Mutant Giant Spider
Dog," most folks flee in complete terror. You just no need to panic,
though; the onslaught of giant, mutant spiders is not yet upon us.
As shown by
Poland-based prankster Sylwester Adam Wardęga (a.k.a. "SA Wardęga"),
the horrendous, and eight-legged monster was nothing more than his loveable
dog, “Chica”, cunningly dressed up in a furry costume and unleashed onto the
unwary public. In the video, you can clearly see “Chica the DogSpider”
scuttling cheerily after each innocent victim, looking like the stuff of
nightmares emerging from dark alleys and shadowy corners. Even one man, in the
middle of taking out his garbage, flees for his life upon seeing “Chica” pop
out from behind a door.
Moreover;
in another scene, two girls run away shouting from the frightening sight of the
furry creature preying on a seemingly lifeless man in an elevator. Then a
couple is seen cautiously approaching a spider-web-wrapped form in the trees,
only to sprint right out of the park when “Chica” appears. One exclusively
funny scene shows a man confronted with numerous bloody, dangling limbs, which
he stops to snap a photo of before being rushed by the mutant monster straight
into a close spider-web. In a moment of intensified tension, the gentleman
struggles to escape, but absolutely disentangles himself just in time to get
away.

Adorable Topiary Sculpture of a Sleeping Baby Bird by Claude Ponti
Some peoples are blessed with natural abilities
to do something different. Like, French artist Claude Pointi, who produced a
beautiful sculpture in a large botanical garden. So if you happen to discover yourself in
Nantes, France, be sure to head to Jardin des Plantes, a big botanical garden.
Where you will find this delectable topiary sculpture titled “Poussin
endormi” (Sleepy Chick) by French artist Claude Ponti.
It features a larger-than-life baby bird whose
relaxed pose looks like it’s in the middle of a nap. The amusing work showcases
Ponti’s great abilities in crafting a topiary. Ponti’s creates evenly-textured,
rounded forms that are punctuated with metal details like long, thin legs and a
bright yellow beak. There’re even miniature eyelashes that dot the bird’s
closed eyes! This lovely topiary is part of a larger exhibition of Ponti’s work
that’s available for view through October 20 of this year.Source: Charismatic Planet
